In 2013, Medicinal Chemistry was appointed to be a Key disciplines of medical and health
in Shandong Province. Currently, this department has about 15 staffs including 4 professors, 3 ass
ociate professors, 1 senior engineer. And eight peoples have doctoral graduate. Also, there have 6
MA student advisers.
During the past five years, about 10 million yuan have been spent to equip with modern laboratories and state-of-the-art instrumentation. The disciplines of Medicinal Chemistryat have been recruit two and train two doctorates. The team members' qualifications, title, age, knowledge structure and innovation ability have been improved.
Over the past three years, the Medicinal Chemistryat has undertaken 3 state-level scientific projects, 8 provincial scientific projects , 24 municipal scientific projects, 6 horizontal topic research and 1 transformation of Scientific and Technological Achievements. The funds on scientific research reach 2.7 million RMB. During these 3 years, over 34 manuscripts have been published, among which more than 16 have been collected by SCI, obtained 5 national patents.
The disciplines of Medicinal Chemistryat is playing a very important role in the development of pharmacy education and creativity. Currently, there have 12 master graduate students and accept approximately 80 undergraduates per year. Master graduate students have published manuscripts and many have been collected by SCI such as Cat. Lett. (IF 2.307, first, 2017). Guide students to participate in various professional competition and won the national award 8, the provincial awards 2.
