Requirements:
Based on the disciplines of pharmacy, chemistry and medicines, this major focuses on the cultivation of application-type advanced talents in the field of pharmacy who will devote to the research and development, scientific exploitation, production and management in pharmaceutical enterprises and relevant sectors with professional knowledge and practical skills, as well as an all-round development of morality, intelligence, physics and aesthetics.
The graduates should have the following capabilities:
To master the fundamental knowledges and skills of chemistry, pharmacy and medicine; to receive the basic experimental training of main branches of pharmacy.
To have the abilities of formulations design, development and research, improvement of drug delivery systems or dosage forms for traditional Chinese Medicines, chemical medicines and biological medicines.
To have the abilities of evaluation of pharmacodynamics and toxicology and quality control in the preclinical experiments.
To master the fundamental knowledges and technologies of pharmaceutical engineering, pharmacy separation engineering, pharmaceutical safety engineering; to master the elemental contents and requirements of Good Manufacture Practice (GMP) intended to design the pharmaceutical factory, the industrial induction process, and pharmaceutical Workshop.
To acquaint yourself with the laws and regulations of pharmacy administration and the basic knowledge of marketing policies; to learn the development of modern pharmaceutical preparation.
After fulfilling the requirements of the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Academic Degrees, the students will be granted the degree of Bachelor of Science.
